After a year, platform A's pop-up store reappears in Taipei's Dihua Street, grandly opening from September 17 to October 12. Since its establishment, platform A has always upheld the original intention of "bringing art into life," dedicated to providing a closer avenue for art collection. This time, we have created an "art supermarket" concept store, featuring selected landscapes of Taiwan as seen through the eyes of artists, inviting viewers to walk in as if they were in a supermarket, re-experiencing the connection between art and life, and finding that piece of Taiwanese style that belongs to them.

Viewing art is as easy as shopping in a supermarket

This concept of a "supermarket" is born from our enduring expectation—that art should be something everyone can relate to.

In our daily lives, we naturally walk into supermarkets to satisfy our needs; amidst busy days, we occasionally wander into supermarkets and find unexpected inspiration among the dazzling shelves. Shopping in a supermarket is a habit that feels completely natural to us.

Art is often described as a "spiritual necessity." So, what if there were a supermarket dedicated to "art"? How would our lives change? The starting point of this concept store comes from a notion that may sound a bit romantic, yet it profoundly marks a significant annotation for the brand, established three years ago: bringing art back into our daily lives and illuminating it with surprises.

Gathering 70 pieces of Taiwanese scenery, three major highlights at once!

We start from "Taiwanese scenery," bringing the island's moist and warm atmosphere, vibrant yet rustic colors, and the subtle yet vibrant cultural landscape into the store. The exhibition area is planned with three main highlights:

✶ Memory Entrance — The footprints and map of platform A

Platform A acts like a matchmaker, connecting artists and collectors. Here, we showcase a distribution map of hundreds of collectors and artists since our establishment, highlighting how art transcends spatial and temporal boundaries, marking each precious encounter and footprint on the map.

✶ Island Fragrance — Experience the humid warmth of East Asia

This is our interpretation of Taiwan. The artworks carry the scent, memory, and culture of the land, arranged and displayed to form a unique organic visual language, converging into the Taiwanese scenery we are most familiar with.

We believe that art should not just be hung high on the walls of galleries and museums but should be accessible and affordable for everyone. Therefore, we have transformed this place into an "art supermarket" where you can grab a shopping basket, browse freely, and use artwork to add a touch of inspiration to your life, enjoying beautiful moments of encountering art.
